Following this in the US, I thought I would start a running thread on this. I will be posting short thoughts on this throughout the period I’m following this campaign. So before we start with the serious BaZi analysis, let’s look at the relevant base information which is the BaZi charts of the 4 key candidates.
THE PLAYERS
Incumbent Barack Obama, POTUS, Democrat

Current Luck Pillar: 庚 寅
Vice President Joseph Biden:
- Joseph Biden (Time of Birth not Accurate)
Currently in 戊 午 Luck Pillar.
The Challengers:
Willard Mitt Romney, Republican Presidential Candidate:
- Mitt Romney (time of birth accurate)
Current Luck Pillar: 丙 申
Congressman Paul Ryan, Running Mate:
- Paul Ryan – Time of Birth Not Accurate
Current Luck Pillar: 癸 酉
At first glance, this is a tough one to call in many ways. Both Obama and Romney (the VP options would simply go to support the POTUS conclusion) are in ‘Officer’ Luck Pillars of sorts. However, in my follow up post, I will endeavour to call the election, based on an analysis of both candidates BaZi, which is made a little easier by the fact that both Republican and Democratic Presidential Candidates have full astrological information available on the Internet (in Obama’s case, a copy of his birth certificate).
