After my post on the US Presidential election, I’ve of course been sent info by friends indicating that everything in the polls suggest OTHERWISE to my prediction.
Elections are a tricky business though and i realised that there was one consideration that I didn’t take into account when thinking about the issue of the US Presidential election.
To recap, the theory goes like this: whomever is in combination with the Grand Duke aka Tai Shui of the year (it being the Rat 癸 ）is the person who will get elected because they connect with the Grand Duke. The assumption however is that being in good luck = being elected President of the United States.
What if being in good luck means not being elected President of the USA?
I’ve been doing some studies on the whole ‘one with the Tai Shui’ idea, and it seems to me as though when one is ONE with the Tai Shui, the assumption is that all the things that happen, are good. But what if bad things happen, but they turn out to have the proverbial silver lining?
So therefore, if one is in good luck in a given year, the events that seem to be bad in terms of their outcome, actually turn out to be good ultimately? By contrast, in a year when one is in bad luck, the negative things that happen not only dash one’s hopes, but also end up being well, just lousy in terms of outcome. My own little case study suggests that when you are in a good luck year, the events that seem negative, in fact ultimately turn out to have a positive ring to them. It one can get past the fact that it isn’t what one wants, there is a good lesson to be learnt.
So, the bottom line is this: it’s a lousy time to be the President of the USA. You are damned if you do, and damned if you don’t. The economy is in the toilet and probably will take 2/3 of the term of the typical President to just return to decent levels. You will probably be blamed for every crisis that emerges in the next four years. History will not have nice things to say about you at best. Everything you achieve will be over-shadowed by the fact that you failed to achieve more. To wit, perhaps, good luck means NOT becoming President and bad luck means becoming the President.
So, between Obama and McCain, it may not be a question of who is in good luck, but who is in bad luck!
It’s really funny because I came up with the exact same conclusion as you after reading Joey’s book and running McCain and Obama through the BaZi analysis. When I ran the analysis 2 days before the election, I was looking at it in disbelief since the calculations clearly were saying McCain should WIN no matter how many different ways I looked at it. But the polls said otherwise, and now we know who actually won.
BUT, I think you are exactly right. The winner of this election is actually the LOSER since he inherits such a terrible hand to play (without the ability to fold). If we look further in 2010, we see that Obama will go into Geng Yin luck which will hurt the wood (the Jia and Yi) elements on his heavenly stems. Given that Obama has A LOT of bi jie elements, the loss of the Jia and Yi elements means he loses control of the bi jie…could be his supporters rebelling against him and/or robbing him of all his wealth in an uncontrollable way!
It is perfect timing too since 2010 is…Geng Yin…the exact luck period he will be going through (so double the impact).
It’s not looking so good for Obama, that’s for sure.

Correct! You make a superior destiny master!! I will definately come & consult you on any emergeny situation or big decision because in the end you will still have an answer when things go wrong! These things are not an exact science for sure. That is why so many people don’t have the balls to put their money where their mouth.
