Rooster marks the end of Palin's Peak?

It’s no surprise that Republican Vice Presidential hopeful Sarah Palin has been a huge hit this month. She was introduced to the world as the woman who would make it to the White House on August 29th 2008.

It is a strong Rob Wealth month for all Geng Metals (doesn’t she just LOOK so…Geng? Check out those Power Cheeks, and those Ears) and so it’s not surprising that its just rah-rah all the way for Palin.

Sarah Palin's BaZi Chart

Sarah Palin's BaZi chart (time of birth used is what was given in various Internet Astrology sites)

Rob Wealth makes the person popular, but also generally suggests better than average Luck with matters of communication and persuasion. And Palin is now in a Rob Wealth Luck Pillar, and been going through a Rob Wealth month by and large as she has joined the McCain ticket.

Whilst she has gaffed initially in her media interviews (note that there is no Rob Wealth star in the original chart), like all good Geng, when subjected to enough pressure, and given enough training (she was secluded in John McCain’s ranch in preparation for her debate with Joe Biden), she didn’t perform too badly in the VP’s debate.

Okay, admittedly the pundits didn’t like her. But that’s no surprise. Check out her Luck Pillars and we’ll easily be able to see who are her biggest fans.

Sarah Palin's Luck Pillars

Palin is currently in the 42-52 Luck Pillar, which is the Luck Pillar of Xin You 辛 酉 . Xin You, as a Pillar, tells us a lot more than just she’s very popular. It tells us exactly WHO she is popular with – in short, it gives us a visual image of the people who constitute her Rob Wealth stars (aka, her fans). Xin You, besides being a pure pillar, is also one that epitomises the image of commonness. Xin Metal is not supposed to be common – it is supposed to be high and mighty, aristocratic, refined, and classy. But not all Xin Metal are like that (there are six types after all). And Xin You is regarded as the most common of all the six types of Xin Metal – the least precious, the least expensive. Forget Cartier diamond ring, we’re talking kitchen scissors here.

That is EXACTLY the type of demographic that Palin appeals to. The AVERAGE American. Not the intellectual American. Or the highly intelligent American. The Common, Average American. And by most pollings (and also by looking at who she is appealing to), it is obvious that the Average Joe and Average Joanna is who she’s going for.

Common Xin by any other name.

The question is, will Palin’s peak start to dip as we move out of the Rooster and move into the Dog?

Xu (Dog) is the graveyard of Metal, specifically Xin Metal. So Palin’s popularity might take a bit of a dip.

But bear in mind that her overall Luck Pillar is still indicative of strong Rob Wealth. And, her chart contains a Dragon and Monkey, which means, two of her pillars are in a Three Harmony combo with the Grand Duke of the Year, which is the Rat. So the pundits and intelligentsia can hate her for all they want – she’s still raking up those points it would seem with the common average Xins…urm…Americans.

The Dog month may prove to be helpful in other ways. Right now, Palin is coming across as charming and folksy, but as the Dog moves in, we will see the emergence of her more authoritative side. Her chart already shows a dominance of Seven Killings (how else has she been able to get away with flirting with the camera the way she has been?) and in the Dog month, the Three Harmony combination will bring forth strong Fire, which is her Seven Killings star. So her charisma factor, and authority factor will rachet up.

In short, expect the Geng to start showing that she doesn’t just need to grow a pair, she has a pair thank you very much. And if Putin were to “rear his ugly head…”, well, Sarah ain’t going to let it happen, you betcha Polar Bears.

So whilst it looks as though Palin’s peak is here and her popularity can only go down the drain, the Dog month seems to suggest that whilst she might lose a bit of popularity, she’s going to gain a lot of authority and credibility in the eyes of voters through a demonstration of her leadership skills, and her willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. Expect her also to start showing her true Seven Killings colours, and doing whatever it takes to get the boss to the White House.

Wait and watch how the huskies bark come October 7th.
